SARAH SCOTT EARLY CHILDHOOD WING
ABOUT MRS. SCOTT
Mrs. Sarah Scott taught at DSE for 47 years. She was one of LPSB's first African American educators after integration took place in the 1970s. Mrs. Scott retired after teaching for 50 years on May 26, 2018.
On Thursday, February 4, 2022, the Livingston Parish School Board passed a resolution to name the east first-floor wing of DSE "Sarah Scott Early Childhood Wing."
